OWU Students Say:
“The professors here are so passionate and so intrigued by your interests. They go out of their way to be part of your discoveries.”
To be eligible for merit scholarships, you must present an outstanding academic record, high standardized test scores, and a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (213 on the computer-based test or 80 on the Internet-based test) or at least a 7 on the IELTS. We evaluate your record and accomplishments in competition with other applicants for scholarship awards. Students with outstanding academic credentials may, in addition to receiving an award, be designated as honors students. Most of our financial awards are merit based.

The maximum award available at Ohio Wesleyan is full tuition. To be considered for admission, you, your parents, or other persons must be able to provide at least U.S. $17,000 to make up the difference between tuition and total annual costs and expenses. These expenses include room (housing), board (meals), books, health insurance, and personal and vacation living. We do not accept, read, or consider applications from students unable to meet this financial obligation.

As a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III institution, Ohio Wesleyan does not offer athletic scholarships.
