Legacy Program

OWU’s Legacy Program is one of the most generous you’ll find anywhere. If you are a child, stepchild, grandchild, or step-grandchild of an OWU alumnus/alumna, you are eligible for a Legacy Grant. Beginning with the 2013-2014 academic year, it has been increased to $18,000 per year for each of the four years of your OWU enrollment, if you remain in good academic standing. The new amount is not retroactive, but if you are just beginning your college search, be sure to ask about the Legacy Program.

We also offer Legacy Internships, which provide legacy students the opportunity to develop marketable job skills while on campus. You are permitted to apply for these internships regardless of your financial aid status.
