• Theory-to-Practice Grants send them beyond the boundaries of the United States to conduct their own self-designed research projects.
• A Travel-Learning experience is part of the coursework of many Ohio Wesleyan classes and provides “on-the-ground” knowledge about topics discussed in class.
• Volunteer trips offer a mixture of travel and service, both in this country and abroad.

From internships and apprenticeships in the arts to field experiences in the sciences and humanities, Ohio Wesleyan blends theory and practice and prepares every student to become a 21st century global leader.

Choices

OWU’s choice of majors is virtually limitless, and students can double or even triple major, or select a major and multiple minors. Breadth and depth of knowledge is what liberal arts education is all about—and Ohio Wesleyan provides an incomparable liberal arts experience.

Our unique Course Connections networks allow students to study a topic of interest over a protracted period of time as they take courses from a variety of departments and disciplines.
