OWU Winter Visit Day

The OWU Winter Visit Day offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity for a more “personal” look at OWU. Participants can tour campus, visit a class or two, eat lunch on campus and so much more! Parents are welcome to attend as well.

Sunday, February 19 (optional overnight for ADMITTED students)
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.	Check-In Meet your overnight host/ess for the evening. Location: Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Atrium.
6:30 p.m.	Dinner on Campus with Host Meal ticket provided. Various locations.
7:30 p.m.	Social Time with Your Student Host/ess Every student’s experience at Ohio Wesleyan is unique. Find out what has made your overnight host’s time here so special and find out what you have in common. *See Social Scene Flyer in your registration folder for information about possible activities happening on- and off-campus*
Monday, February 20
7:30 - 8:10 a.m.	Check-In (for those who did not spend the evening on-campus) Location: Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Atrium.
7:30 - 8:10 a.m. (students and parents)	Continental Breakfast Location: Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Atrium.
8:15 - 8:45 a.m. (students and parents)	Welcome Session Featuring Dr. Rock Jones, OWU President. You’ll get to know our President on a first-name basis when you’re a Bishop, so we invite you to hear from him this morning as you prepare for your day with us. Location: Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Benes Room B.
9 a.m. - 12noon (students/parents)	Concurrent Sessions. This is your day to explore our campus and ask your questions, so choose which session(s) are most important to you! Class Visitation(s) * students only * You can choose class(es) to visit from a list of open classes and sign up for a campus tour during check-in. Campus Tour Faculty/Coach Appointment(s) Admission Overview - 9am only (designed for non-senior students and parents) Financial Aid Overview - 10am only Sending Your Son or Daughter to OWU - 11am only (designed for parents) Open Houses. Various adminsitrative offices will be open to accept "walk-in" visitors armed with questions about OWU and the services their offices provide.
Noon (students and parents)	Lunch on Campus Try real college food while eating lunch in one of our on-campus dining locations (Smith Hall, Food Court, Bishop Café, etc.) Complimentary meal tickets provided. Various locations. OR Campus Tour
1:10 p.m. (students and parents)	Optional Activities (choose one of the activities below, if your schedule permits): Student Panel Discussion Studio Arts Facility Tour Depart from Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Atrium Meek Aquatics and Recreation Center Tour Depart from Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Atrium Campus Tour Depart from Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Atrium Financial Aid Office Open Hour Financial Aid officers will be available from 1:10-2 p.m. for “walk-in” appointments to discuss specific financial aid issues/concerns. Location: Financial Aid Office, Slocum Hall, Room 250.
